- Is there any cost to be in the TPI-Platinum Agent Program?
There is no extra cost to participate in this program.
- Do I need to sign an additional contract or any other document to be in this program?
No, the program is not mandatory and there is no other documentation for you to sign.
- How do I qualify for this program?
In order to qualify in the program, you must produce in a twelve month period, $500,000+ in sales. TPI reserves the right to remove agents from the program if the agent is not current with monthly fees or shows any unethical behavior explained in the agent’s contract.
- What are the requirements to maintain Platinum Status?
Just maintain $500,000+ in TPI sales.
- How often does TPI review productivity status?
Twice-a-year.
- I am a new agent with TPI; Can I participate in this program?
Yes, if based on your past sales with your own CLIA number or past host agency where you sold more than $500K annually, this would qualify you for the program.
- What day of the week should I expect my weekly commission deposit?
In this new program, all the commission RECEIVED AND DEPOSITED in our account in the previous week (From Saturday to Friday), will be disbursed the following Friday. The accounting department will prepare statements on Monday & Tuesday. On Wednesday they will prepare the funds to be disbursed by Friday. If an agent is receiving a paper check, the check will be mailed on Friday.
- I do not want to get paid every week. Can I continue to be paid bi-monthly?
Yes, you can. Just send an email to platinum@tpionline.com.
- Can I choose the day I wish to get paid?
At this time we have designated Friday as the day for commissions to be disbursed.
- What day of the week is the NPC reconciled?
The funds for an NPC report are deposited in our account on Monday. If you call a cruise line, you may hear them say that the NPC was paid on Friday but the funds from NPC are not available until the following Monday.
- How can I obtain an accurate report of what I am going to get paid?

- Can I ask for an agent statement with specific dates?

- What is special pricing on preferred supplier FAMs?
TPI Marketing and Business Development (MBD) department will negotiate with suppliers to get a lower price for our PLATINUM Agents on FAM trips organized by our preferred suppliers.
- Do I have to participate in the preferred supplier FAMs?
No. It is not mandatory for agents to participate in supplier FAMs.
- What are exclusive preferred supplier negotiated incentive trips?
The TPI MBD department will plan and negotiate special pricing for these exclusive PLATINUM agent trips.
- How many exclusive preferred supplier negotiated incentive trips does TPI put together per year?
The TPI MBD department is targeting to put together at least 2 trips per year.
- Can I attend all exclusive preferred supplier incentive trips?
Yes, you can attend all the trips.
- How do I get direct access to preferred supplier representatives?
Please send an email to platinum@tpionline.com requesting contact information for a preferred supplier representative. Your reason for the request should be included in the email. Please keep in mind that our BDM’s (Business Developer Manager) are here to help you increase your business. For any other issues (i.e.: Customer Service) please contact the inside sales department or customer service for the preferred supplier.
- How do I get my 5 free sub-agents?
The cost of registration and monthly fee for up to 5 sub-agents is waived. When submitting the application to add sub-agents, indicate that you are a Platinum Agent.
- What is considered a standard TRAMS Report?
TRAMS offers a variety of reports for passenger, vendors, bookings and productivity. These reports will be free as long as the report does not require customization.
- Do I get notified if I lose my platinum status?
Yes, every six months TPI will review productivity. If an agent falls under the threshold, the agent will be notified of the change via email.
